Hematology, Blood Chemistry and Urinalysis – St. Gabriel Animal Hospital has in house complete blood count, serum chemistry, electrolyte, blood gas and coagulation, and urine analyzers, all of which are available 24 hours a day for critical care monitoring and routine bloodwork. This in-house testing provides a quick look into the health of your pet.This equipment not only allows us to assess the patient’s blood, but it can also assess joint, abdominal, and thoracic fluid samples within a short period of time. All other laboratory diagnostic services can be sent out with most results given within 24-48 hours.
Microscope Evaluation/Cytology – Cytology can be used to diagnose and treat various conditions, including ear infections, skin infections, dermal and subcutaneous masses, as well as lymph node aspirations.
